🐾💙 Coyote Pride in Action! 💙🐾
At the Coach Rod Field Opening Ceremony, a powerful moment reminded us what it truly means to be a Mighty Coyote. One of Coach Rod’s family members proudly presented La Joya High School Principal Mr. Eduardo “Eddie” Flores with one of the original shovels used during the groundbreaking ceremony in November 2025 — the very tool that helped turn vision into reality.
This wasn’t just a gift. It was a symbol. 🏟️✨
A symbol of dedication.
A symbol of unity.
A symbol that legacy lives on.
For the Mighty Coyotes, this field represents more than turf and track — it represents tradition, hard work, and the spirit of those who paved the way. Today, we celebrate not just a new chapter but the foundation built by those who believed in our students, our school, and our future.
Once a Coyote, always a Coyote. 💙🐺
