Difference between Enhancement and Transformation with SAMR Model
Enhancement- a substitution of old technology. An example is an assignment with Microsoft Word with no comments from others or community involvement. It is often referred to as the bare bones of technology.
Transformation- the ability to explain an understanding of different ideas and concepts, such as sharing a video with others and receiving feedback. Activities in STEM may involve completing a test and sharing results with others. Students publish their work where it can be viewed by peers and the community. Students use multi-media tools such as audio, video, and live content.
