At its January 21, 2026, board meeting, the La Joya ISD School Board approved school actions to improve academic quality, address a decade-long enrollment decline of more than 8,000 students, and ensure financial stability. Following months of analysis and engagement with over 900 stakeholders, these actions align district resources to better support student success.
