La Joya ISD is closely monitoring the approaching cold weather conditions scheduled for next week. We will make decisions about a school delay or closure, as we gather additional information. Classes are to continue as scheduled until further notice. We understand that increased activity, especially when it involves law enforcement training, can sometimes raise concerns within the community. We want to assure you that this training is a routine and essential part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of public safety.
The training is carefully planned to ensure minimal disruption to the community, and all necessary precautions will be taken to guarantee the safety of residents. We kindly request your understanding and cooperation during this period.
